PROFILE

Schola Gbashah has over 25 years work experience in both the private and government sectors across Nigeria, the United Kingdom and Bermuda. She has garnered knowledge in various sectors in the banking, transportation and Oil and Gas sectors.

She served as General Manager and an Executive Director in her previous role within the oil & gas sector and in addition to this, managed the Corporate Governance and Compliance units as well as Government relations. She currently works as a Consultant with the Kebbi state government in the pursuit and engagement of partnerships as well as fostering, maintaining, building and developing existing and current relationship with non governmental/philanthropic Organizations.

Her primary Function/ Responsibility as a Consultant in the Government Sector is to identify and engage partners with a view to creating and fostering relationships and creating mutually beneficial programs particularly in the health sector which will advance the development of the state and its indigenes. Foster, maintain, build and develop existing and current relationship with nongovernmental/philanthropic organizations and attend and represent the State where required.

While in the Private Sector she manages transactions to ensure compliance and a seamless process in executing all trade contracts by the company. Represents the company in all activities concerning the promotion, development, funding, delivery and evaluation of trading activities within approved policy and authority limits An experienced professional with strong leadership and strategic skills, Schola has a proven track record in the areas of statutory regulation and compliance with strong emphasis on integrity and professionalism. She stands to bring the wealth of experience she has gained and honed in the various roles like Risk and Statutory Compliance, Corporate Services, Business Development and Relationship Management, and
Finance; which she has held across Nigeria and Internationally.
